This letter captures in brief a core innovation in the two patented technologies. The underlying focus of the two technologies is to demonstrate how discrete energy transfer can be achieved that leads enhanced power-conversion efficiency in one case and a mechanism for packetized energy transfer that can enable cotransfer of information and energy.
