• Artificial intelligence–driven risk stratification offers a promising shift from diameter-based thresholds toward individualized decision-making in abdominal aortic aneurysm management. • The integration of AI models into clinical practice should be critically aligned with current guideline recommendations, ensuring transparency, external validation, and clinical interpretability. • AI has the potential to complement, rather than replace, established evidence-based criteria, fostering a paradigm where guidelines evolve alongside data-driven precision medicine.
