• Novel hydrogel is created from [Nb6O19]7− as dynamic crosslinkers for the first time. • The gel achieves high ionic conductivity (141 mS cm−1) and superior mechanical strength. • AC|PONb/KOH-PVA|AC exhibit high capacitance and 90.9% retention after 10,000 cycles. • Flexible gel device shows stable electrochemical performance under various bending. • Serially connected devices power LEDs, showing potential for wearable electronics.
