• Compact CFI-based continuous ozonation system rapidly removes pharmaceuticals • Enhanced gas-liquid mass transfer achieved > 80% removal within 10 min at 10 mL/min • Radical scavenging confirmed the role of hydroxyl-radical-mediated pathways • High pharmaceuticals degradation (66–98%) achieved in real hospital wastewater • Non-linear exponential kinetics describe CFI-based pharmaceutical ozonation (R² > 0.99)
