Abstract
En 中文
• The studied suspension bridge is located in a tropical region, whose environment differ significantly from previous studies. • The main cables utilize ultra-high-strength steel wires (> 1600 MPa), matching the material of modern suspension bridges. • A surface corrosion distribution was established to optimize the selection of cable panels for inspection in similar bridges. • The bridge represents the only dismantled in-service suspension bridge in East Asia, providing a rare empirical dataset.
