• Fully automatic quantitative identification of wet agglomerates was realized. • Optimized DBSCAN retains all clusters and noise points for complete analysis. • Micro-forces, micro-evolution, and macro-distribution of wet agglomerates were related. • Both agglomeration degree and strength were realized via multi-scale study. • A quantifiable analysis paradigm for complex multiphase flow systems was established.
