Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• A series of Cr-UiO-66 catalysts with ligand-vacancy defects was prepared for the oxidative dehydrogenation of biomass-derived 1,2-propanediol to hydroxyacetone. • A volcano-shaped trend between defect level and hydroxyacetone yield was established. • Moderate ligand vacancies balance H2O2 conversion and the selective formation of hydroxyacetone. • •OH radicals were identified as key species for H2O2-driven ODH of 1,2-propanediol.
