Abstract

• Hybrid artificial arm is presented using electrohydraulic actuators. • Arm integrates a four-bar linkage joint for motion amplification. • Limited actuator displacement is transformed into large angular motion. • Arm achieved large flexion, eight times greater than the arm without linkage.
