Abstract

• Sensitivity enhanced 129Xe NMR based on chemical exchange saturation transfer. • Application of a lot of saturation pulses to make the saturation transfer remarkable. • Hyperpolarized 129Xe NMR stability enhanced by subtraction spectroscopy. • Very weak and broad 129Xe NMR signal buried under baseline detected. • Tiny void space, free volume in polymer, evidenced in silk fibroin sponge.
