Developing BOLT — A matrix test using Boolean operations to assess logical thinking
DOI:10.1016/j.intell.2026.102026.png)
Abstract
En 中文
• BOLT is a matrix test based on Boolean operations to assess logical thinking. • Binary rules increased difficulty; unary and ternary showed no consistent effects. • Cross-validated LASSO selected sparse predictors for study-specific LLTM models. • Mixed-effects LLTMs explained 74% (pilot) and 55% (admission) of difficulty variance. • Extracted perceptual features improved prediction beyond rule types.
