Abstract
En 中文
• Yield strength of Mg-0.5Zn-0.2Ge-0.05Ca alloy was increased by 61% via rotary swaging. • Strength improvement is mainly due to grain refinement (49.9 MPa) and dislocation accumulation (36.0 MPa). • High ductility (∼19%) is preserved via the activation of 〈c+a〉 dislocations during swaying. • Low long-term corrosion rate is determined for swaged alloy comparable to the extruded state.
