Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• A novel differential protection scheme using PV harmonic characteristics is proposed for distribution networks. • Analytical expressions for 2nd/3rd harmonic currents from PV during faults are derived based on inverter control. • A dual-startup criterion combining voltage sag and harmonic content ensures reliable operation under high impedance. • Fault identification uses vector sum/difference of harmonic currents to distinguish internal/external faults accurately. • Simulations confirm strong immunity to transition resistance and high reliability compared to conventional methods.
