Abstract

• DSI-based diffusion metrics enable accurate detection of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE). • Local connectome fingerprints achieved 97.3% accuracy in classifying TLE vs controls. • DSI metrics allowed automatic identification of left vs right TLE with high specificity. • Advanced diffusion imaging with SVM can aid noninvasive seizure localization.
