Despite national primary prevention strategies, rural mothers face a higher risk of stillbirth compared to metropolitan mothers. One prevention strategy involves recommending women seek care for reduced fetal movement (RFM), yet limited research has explored rural mothers’ understanding of RFM or their experiences of accessing maternity care.
