Abstract
En 中文
• We conduct an outdoor navigation experiment. • Repeated navigation promotes the parallel development of landmark, route, and survey knowledge. • Mobile maps facilitate pointing and route-reversal performance, but can hinder landmark learning with limited exposure. • The benefits of mobile maps are moderated by individuals' navigation ability and preferred navigation strategy.
