This letter proposes a dual-delay-Doppler-domain superimposed pilot scheme for OTFS systems. Data symbols are placed and detected in a data DD domain, while pilots are designed and estimated in a pilot DD domain. The two DD domains represent the same OTFS frame with different parameterizations and are connected by a transformation matrix. A cross-domain iterative receiver is developed for pilot-domain channel estimation and data-domain detection. Simulations show that the proposed scheme achieves almost the same PAPR as pilot-free OTFS and about four times lower NMSE at 20 dB.
