Abstract

• Dy3+-doped telluroborate glass shows tunable luminescence with composition. • Efficient energy transfer from Gd3+ to Dy3+ enhances yellow emission (∼574 nm). • Maximum emission efficiency observed at 0.5 mol% Dy2O3 (optimized concentration). • White light emission achieved with CIE coordinates (0.37, 0.41).
