• A ML-MMC method is developed to eliminate local vibration modes. • The ML-MMC can eliminate local modes without extra mode identification techniques. • An explicit design can be achieved with a small number of design variables. • The optimized structure can be directly linked to CAD/CAE systems. • Component-based meshless analysis can significant reduce analytical DOFs.
