• AgVO3 incorporation into denture adhesive was confirmed by FTIR and TGA analyses. • AgVO3 promoted concentration-dependent release of Ag+ and vanadium ions. • Ag + release was influenced by pH, showing lower release under acidic conditions. • Temperature and salivation conditions significantly influenced volumetric stability and adhesive strength.
