Abstract
En 中文
• LBE corrosion resistance of 321 steel strongly depends on shot peening intensity. • Coarse slip bands from low-intensity peening facilitate rapid localized LBE ingress. • High-intensity peening yields refined martensite, forming a compact spinel layer. • Fine recrystallized grains offer short-circuit diffusion paths for rapid oxidation. • Phase transformations and rapid Cr diffusion prevent a Cr-depleted zone.
