• Activation of vHIP CaMKⅡα neurons ameliorated working memory impairment in PD rats • Activation of vHIP CaMKⅡα neurons increased peak of θ rhythm of the mPFC in PD rats • Activation of vHIP CaMKⅡα neurons increased DA levels in related regions in PD rats • Inhibition of vHIP CaMKⅡα neurons had opposite effect on working memory in PD rats • Activation or inhibition of vHIP CaMKⅡα neurons had no effects in sham rats
