• Precipitation of S phase induced by dislocation is innovatively discovered, and its growth induces the PSN-DRX. • Coarsened η phase promotes the PSN-DRX and grain refinement, while the fine η phase accelerates substructures formation. • With temperature increases and strain rate decreases, the dominant DRX mechanism transforms from DDRX to CDRX/GDRX. • Uniform fine-grained structure can be achieved by regulating the deformation parameters and second phase precipitation.
