• An innovative Na/Ca compound salt roasting system was developed for cleaner lepidolite valorization. • Simultaneous high-efficiency Li extraction (98.9%) and in-situ F fixation (90.5%) were achieved. • Formation of CaF2 accelerates lattice destruction and thermodynamically drives efficient Li release. • Techno-economic analysis confirms the process feasibility with low raw material costs.
