• The fillers modification adopted a “dopamine anchoring–KH570 grafting” strategy. • The dual-filler blend constructed a continuous thermal conduction network. • The composite material exhibited a thermal conductivity of 1.12 W/(m·K). • The composite material showed balanced performance with no significant weaknesses. • The composite material reduced the operating temperature of LEDs by 9.9 °C.
