Abstract
En 中文
• EGFR may integrate signaling from cytokines, growth factors, and mechanical stress. • NF-κB, ROS, and VEGF pathways mechanistically link EGFR to inflammation. • EGFR signaling is involved in vascular inflammation and endothelial adaptation. • Vascular effects of EGFR may be protective or detrimental in a context-dependent manner. • Comparative studies are needed to define EGFR roles in vascular homeostasis.
