Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Lignin extracted from AHP-pretreated elephant grass with 62.5% yield and 88% purity • Extracted lignin is amorphous in nature and is rich in guaiacyl-syringyl units • Extracted lignin showed strong antioxidant activity (RSI = 5; EC₅₀ = 0.2 mg/mL) • MS analysis revealed oligomers, including guaiacyl dimers with β–O–4 and α→5 linkages
