Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Thermodynamic analysis rules out internal gas combustion due to oxygen depletion, supporting a detonation mechanism. • A novel gas-dynamic model establishes a Mach number criterion (Ma ≥ 1) for predicting internal detonation onset. • Analytical derivation reveals gas front velocity scales with specific energy and is inversely proportional to channel width. • Distinct failure regimes are identified and giving the modeling-based boundaries.
