Active learning methodologies are gaining increasing relevance as innovative pedagogical approaches that enhance students' academic, personal, social, and emotional development. These methodologies place learners at the center of the teaching and learning process, empowering them as active participants. The objective of this research is to identify the active methodologies employed by teachers in the Autonomous Community of the Principality of Asturias, as well as their integration with technological tools. To this end, a mixed-methods study with a descriptive and exploratory design was conducted, based on a survey administered to a sample of 557 teachers. The results show progress in methodological transformation and pedagogical flexibility within the education system, reflected in a gradual increase in the incorporation of these methodologies into teaching practice. This study contributes to a broader understanding of teaching and learning processes and provides a solid foundation for future research aimed at deepening the relationship between active methodologies, educational technology, and pedagogical practice.
