Abstract

En 中文
Wireless power transfer and short packet communications are effective methods to provide sustainable energy supplies to the interest of things (IoT) devices and achieve ultra low latency for IoT applications, respectively. In this letter, the resource allocation for energy efficient wireless powered short packet communication networks is studied under the nonlinear energy harvesting model. The problem of joint optimization of the transmit powers and the time allocation to maximize the system energy efficiency is solved via the golden section search, the bisection search and the successive convex approximation methods. The simulation results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm compared to various state-of-the-art baseline algorithms.
