• Enhanced broad-band intermuscular coherence (IMC) occurs in CM, ET, and HC, indicating a physiological basis. • CM shows a higher prevalence and greater magnitude of enhanced broad-band IMC, especially in 4–12/12–30 Hz frequency bands. • Enhanced broad-band IMC may provide a supportive diagnostic value.
