• Adding Sb₂O₃ significantly enhanced the gamma-ray shielding performance of ceramics across the investigated energies. • Experimental LAC values showed excellent agreement with WinXCom calculations, confirming the reliability of the measurements. • Increasing Sb₂O₃ content increased the effective atomic number and density, resulting in improved photon attenuation. • Sb₂O₃-reinforced ceramics exhibited promising radiation shielding properties for nuclear, medical, and aerospace applications.
