This study employs a low-temperature oxidation self-polymerization method to prepare polyaniline-coated titanium diboride (TiB2@PANI) composite materials and co-deposited them with the Ni-W-P system to fabricate a Ni-W-P/TiB2@PANI composite coating. This coating's microstructural features, mechanical characteristics, and anti-corrosive properties are systematically investigated. Experimental results demonstrate that the addition of TiB2@PANI reduced the average coefficient of friction (COFav) of the composite coating from 0.560 to 0.232, while the impedance (Rt) represented an approximate 20-fold increase over the pristine Ni-W-P matrix. The SEM and XRD results indicate that TiB2@PANI effectively inhibits coating corrosion failure and enhances the improved early-stage corrosion resistance of the coating during a 72 h immersion test in a 0.1 mol/L H2SO4 solution at 40°C.
