Developing novel strategies to modulate charge transport properties remains a central objective in molecular electronics. We demonstrate that the nitrogen bridge-mediated p-pi conjugated molecule N-FBTZ-SMe exhibits higher conductance than its nitrogen-free pi-conjugated analogue FBTZ-SMe. The generality of conductance enhancement for nitrogen bridge-mediated p-pi conjugation is validated in extended systems.
