Abstract
En 中文
• A novel design of header and tube arrangement for energy piles is proposed. • Design parameters of the novel design are investigated numerically. • The novel design outperforms the conventional design at a cost of negligible pressure drop. • An increase in flow rate follows a rule of diminishing returns. • Optimised header–tube layout matches double-U heat transfer with roughly half the area.
