• EMHD peristaltic transport of PTT hybrid nanofluid is analysed. • Gold nanoparticles enhance axial velocity in the flexible tube. • Higher Weissenberg number increases entropy generation. • Darcy number reduces the axial pressure gradient significantly. • Trapping strengthens with viscoelasticity and magnetite loading.
