Agent-based modeling is gaining popularity as a tool supporting decision-making processes in management. Despite the growing interest in this method, the literature lacks consistent and widely accepted standards for assessing the quality and validity of agent-based models. This article analyzes available approaches to evaluating such models, focusing on procedures such as verification, calibration, validation, and accreditation. The conducted literature review indicates a shortage of empirical studies and highlights the difficulties in the practical application of existing evaluation methods. In response to these challenges, the article proposes a methodological framework that may support the development of more reliable and useful agent-based models in management.
