Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• TAEO achieves 97.33% inhibition efficiency for mild steel in 1.0 M HCl. • Electrochemical (PDP, EIS) and SEM/EDX analyses confirm improved surface protection • The inhibition mechanism was investigated using electrochemical methods and supported by surface analysis. • DFT and MD simulations explain the adsorption mechanism on the steel surface.
