Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Ulexite addition significantly enhances X-ray and gamma-ray attenuation of cement-based composites. • Ulexite provides effective neutron shielding due to high neutron capture capability. • Radiation shielding performance increases with increasing ulexite content (1–10 wt%). • Early-age compressive strength is significantly reduced by ulexite incorporation. • Ulexite-modified composites are suitable for non-load-bearing radiation shielding applications.
