• A comparative assessment between pure PV PCM and PV/PCM/A-BC/BN panel was conducted. • Modified PV panel with PCM/A-BC/BN is identified as the optimum system. • The relative electrical efficiency for PV/PCM/A-BC/BN was found to be 4.92% 6.44%. • Recorded economic analysis was found to be more suitable in favor to the PV/PCM/A-BC/BN.
