Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• The effectiveness of the protective strategy—“reinforcement with high-strength Bulletproof Panel to alter the projectile's penetration mechanism”—was proposed and validated. • As the impact velocity of the projectile increases, the composite target first undergoes a semi-rigid penetration phase, followed by a semi-fluid penetration phase. • Calculating the protection coefficient to analyze the protective capability of high-strength aluminum alloy panels. • Provides important guidance for effective protection against high-velocity weapons.
