Abstract

• The vetiver reinforced nanocomposites showed maximum tensile strength of 60.02 MPa and flexural strength of 62.23 MPa, respectively. • Spectroscopic analysis verified molecular associations and uniform distribution of nanoclay forming intercalated/exfoliated structure at interface. • Dynamic mechanical analysis reported storage modulus of 4433 MPa, indicating high stiffness property of nanocomposites. • Practical validation through mica lamination and screw-drilling tests confirmed the composite’s suitability for various industrial applications.
