Abstract

• Influencing factors and their interactions in the Joint Position Reproduction test are not clearly explored. • We used a full-factorial design, a generalised mixed linear model, and a relatively high sample size (135 participants). • We found that passive motion, higher movement amplitude and speed, and certain target positions can lead to lower accuracy. • We recommend controlling for these factors in JPR testing.
