Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• A fatigue reliability analysis model of composite structures with LVI damage is established based on the concept of fatigue residual strength. • The fatigue reliability analysis model is validated against experimental tension and compression fatigue life data obtained under three impact energy levels. • The effect of probability of damage detection threshold on the fatigue reliability of the composite helicopter horizontal tail with LVI damage is investigated. • The effect of distribution type of low-velocity impact energy on the fatigue reliability of the composite helicopter horizontal tail is analysed.
