• The study investigated the impact of enriched live food, specifically the rotifer Brachionus calyciflorus, on the survival and growth of Anabas testudineus larvae • This study highlighted that enrichment of rotifers with HUFA alone significantly improved the survival and growth of Anabas testudineus larvae, particularly during the crucial early developmental phase • HUFA-enriched rotifers also resulted in the highest survival rates of Anabas testudineus larvae
