• Successfully synthesized a new type of multifunctional nanoplatform FSC-IR NPs. • FSC-IR NPs integrated IR 825 and self-augmented Fenton molecule FSC. • FSC-IR NPs downregulated the acidity of tumor cells by inhibiting CA IX. • Acidosis and mild PTT enhanced ROS generation for improved CDT. • PTT coupled with CDT significantly increased tumor damage.
