Fixed-time bipartite consensus control for nonlinear multiagent systems

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to study the fixed-time bipartite consensus (FTBC) problem for nonlinear multiagent systems (MASs) under signed graphs. A static control protocol is constructed by employing neighbors' states and its effectiveness is rigorously proved. In view of the difficulty of acquiring topological information, a fully distributed adaptive control protocol is then introduced to fill in this gap. It is solved that the system under consideration eventually reaches the average FTBC under the structurally balanced graphs, while all agents tend to the origin, when the topology is structurally unbalanced. Finally, numerical simulation results are presented to verify the validity of the above protocols.
