• A force-scaling rated load correction method to correct load mismatches is proposed. • Natural frequency is preserved during force-scaling rated load correction. • In-situ, continuous, and wide-range rated load correction is achieved. • The method significantly improves the reliability of passive QZS vibration isolators.
