Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Two types of characteristic fragments are generated in grooved cylinders under explosive loading. • The velocity distributions of the two types of characteristic fragments are obtained using X-ray radiography experiment. • The differential fracture mechanisms of the axial and circumferential fracture surfaces of fragments are revealed. • Design thresholds for simultaneously achieving complete casing fracture and relatively efficient energy utilization are proposed. .
