Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Brazilian tests were conducted on layered sandstone with a bedding-parallel crack after thermal treatment. • Fracture failure mode and AE characteristics of layered sandstone after thermal treatment were investigated. • Effects of high temperature on fracture characteristics of layered sandstone were analyzed. • The crack types of layered sandstone after heat treatment were identified based on RA-AF distribution. • An optimal fracture criterion for predicting fracture toughness of layered sandstone after thermal treatment was discussed.
