Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• We propose a novel low-order four-field VEM discretization for 3D Biot’s problems. • Symmetry of the stress is enforced directly, without using Lagrange multipliers. • A complete a-priori analysis shows the method’s robustness for limiting material properties. • Numerical 3D tests confirm the theoretical convergence results and robustness for different material parameters.
